Sticky mats are a breeding ground for bacteria, the average class generates heat & sweat when in use & then the mat is rolled up ready for the next class. Most Sticky mat manufacturers recommend cleansing Yoga mats with a mild soap solution. “Happy Yogi” contains the mildest of cleansers & natural antiseptics to leave the mat clean & sanitized. No greasy residue is left behind. In a handy 4oz spray bottle, many customers report using Yoga Mat Cleanser beyond the yoga studio. It can be used as a diaper changing area disinfectant, a portable hand sanitizer & a general purifier in public spaces. It could also be used on household surfaces such as toilet seats, counter tops & shower stalls, although we do recommend our concentrated Greener Cleaner for this.

For daily use: lightly spray cleanser onto mat & wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel. Once a week, lightly spray cleanser onto mat & rinse off with a damp washcloth. Periodically, spray your mat & let it sit for 3 mins, work into a lather with a wet cloth, rinse & wipe. Yoga Mat should be completely dry before storing.
